Tours and Private Shuttles

#shredlysontour

Shredlys is a small, boutique tour and private shuttle provider operating all over Tasmania. As such, we are able to offer truly unique, personalised small group tours for all adventure enthusiasts. We hold Tourism Industry Council of Tasmania accreditation for Quality Tourism, as well as accreditation in providing Sustainable Tourism services.

We are able to facilitate adventure tours for a broad range of budgets and styles, and can organise an array of activities to participate in on your adventure. Whether you want to rough it, glamp, camp, stay in five star hotels or one star hostels, we’d be happy to work out an experience that best fits you.

We are, however, dedicated (obsessed?) mountain bikers and outdoors people, and our mission is to protect what matters to us by engaging and fostering relationships between people and our truly unique Natural Environments. By getting people outside, we hope that this will encourage the appreciation and consequently the protection of Tasmania’s greatest resource. And what better way to create a relationship than by exploring by day and sleeping amongst by night?

Our Specialty -
MTB and Camping Tours

Because of our particular set of skills, our specialty lies in Safari Style Camping Tours to all the World Class Mountain Bike Destinations of Tasmania. We can also mix in guided rides, skills coaching and bike and suspension tuning while on tour. Our 7 seat Pajero 4X4 and Custom Caravan can get you and your bikes to such iconic destinations as Blue Derby, St Helens, Maydena Bike Park, Wild Mersey, Queenstown and more. Once there, the caravan is unhooked to give you private shuttles of all the good stuff, ie Derby Black Stump, Blue Tier, Bay of Fires, St Helens.

After a flat out shred session, your luxury canvas safari tents await you. Our camps are set in some of the most breathtaking scenery that Tasmania has to offer. These include Swimcart Beach, Mount Field National Park, Blue Tier Forest Reserve, and more. The caravan is set up to carry bikes, food (beer) and gear, hot private shower, as well as provide a heated loungeroom/kitchen to hang out in, even by the TV if you feel that way inclined. The caravan can also sleep couples or cozy friends, and that option is available. If there is a conflict over who gets to sleep in the caravan, we usually draw a circle in the grass and let the opposing sides fight to the death for it.

Continental Breakfast items are supplied, however lunches and dinners will be up to you. We’re never far away from restaurants, pubs, and supermarkets, and the caravan has a fridge/freezer in it, as well as cooking facilities (which can also be carried with us to the trails if you wish to avoid losing any shred time in getting back to the caravan or a cafe).

We can also provide competitive rates on Norco, Giant and Specialized hire bikes through our local suppliers.

All you need to do is arrange a pick up point with us (usually a Port or Airport, but we’re flexible) and get yourself there, although we’d be happy to assist in flights and/or boats as much as we can.
